Welcome to the Morrison Chamber of Commerce! We are dedicated to supporting and promoting Morrison, building relationships, and providing structure and events that unite the community. Advertising and Promotion: Morrison Chamber of Commerce Website: One of the many values of membership is a listing on the Chamber website and a link to your own website.

Examples include the “Welcome to Morrison” gift baskets and the kiosk at Rockwood State Park, displaying targeted advertising and promotional opportunities to a particular consumer.

This valuable resource for businesses and residents is mailed in our relocation packets or available at the Chamber office and surrounding area.
Business Recognition Opportunities: Your businesses’ visibility will be increased through monthly news releases (Chamber News Flash), featuring noteworthy business milestones, achievements, promotions, and events.
Shop Local First Campaign: The Chamber builds support for locally owned businesses through their “Think Local, Shop Local” campaign, which promotes the many benefits that shopping locally brings to the community.
Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies: The Morrison Chamber of Commerce performs ribbon-cutting ceremonies celebrating a new business or location, providing an excellent promotional opportunity for your business. For those new businesses new to the chamber, the price of the first year membership is cut in half, if the business participates in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

E-Newsletters
Members will receive a quarterly e-mail based newsletter containing a calendar of events, information on local businesses and promotions, and interesting articles applicable to your business.

Membership Referral
The Morrison Chamber of Commerce receives calls daily from visitors or residents for referrals. We constantly make referrals on behalf of our members.

Networking
Because the Morrison Chamber of Commerce brings businesses together with a common bond, there is huge potential to network with a variety of business people in a variety of industries.

Annual Banquet: The Annual Banquet provides a unique chance for chamber members to come together for an evening of great food, presentation, and discussion.
Business After-Hours: Another great way for business networking is Business After-Hours social gatherings, hosted throughout the year by a volunteering member business.

Educational & Training Opportunities
In conjunction with the Morrison Community Economic Development office, we help members grow their business through valuable educational and training opportunities and counsel.

Events
The Morrison Chamber of Commerce sponsors and hosts many events such as the Halloween Parade and Christmas Walk, which all contribute to an active, vital hometown giving Morrison residents a sense of community pride. Chamber members receive a discount if they wish to participate in a Chamber sponsored social event.

Tax Deduction
Your Chamber membership fee is tax deductible.

This year we are pleased to announce a new membership level, “Friends of the Chamber.” Participation at this level is open to any individual who is a resident of Morrison, IL. Business ownership is not a requirement. The annual fee for a “Friends of the Chamber” membership is only $20 a year. This membership entitles you to these benefits:

Your name will be listed in the Morrison Chamber of Commerce Brochure and on the Chamber website as a “Friend of the Chamber.”
A quarterly e-mail based newsletter containing a calendar of events, information on local businesses and promotions, and interesting articles.
An invitation to the Annual Banquet, which provides a unique chance for Chamber members to come together for an evening of great food, presentation, and discussion and the Business After Hours social gatherings, hosted throughout the year by a volunteering member business.
Discounts offered to Chamber members for participation in Chamber sponsored events such as the Annual Banquet.
Volunteer Opportunities in Morrison Chamber of Commerce sponsored events such as the Halloweeen Parade and Christmas Walk.
